Job Description
Our client, based in Berkshire, is currently recruiting for a Finance Officer (Rent & Service Charge) on a 4-week temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.
The ideal candidate will have experience with service charge calculations and estimates.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Calculate initial service charges for new schemes and all estimated service charge calculations for tenants, leaseholders and shared owners
- Review, monitor and control actual spend against budget/forecast
- Analyse monthly actuals against budget/forecast and post accruals/prepayments/adjustments
- Manage invoicing to leaseholders for service charges and other costs
- Perform calculations of actual service charges and reconcile to estimates for annual statements to tenants, leaseholders, and shared owners
- Monitor posting of service charges and repairs
- Perform sundry invoicing
- Maintain cash books for the general bank account, rent bank account and deposit bank account
Experience required:
- Experience working in the Social Housing sector - desirable
- Experience calculating initial service charges
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Compliance and due diligence
- Organised individual
- AAT / ACCA/ CIMA - desirable
