Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging French lessons to both primary and secondary students, taking into account their individual learning needs and abilities
- Plan and prepare lesson materials, including worksheets, assignments, and assessments
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and learning
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their language development
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans that meet the educational standards of the school
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic performance
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns
- A bachelor's degree in French or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
- Proven experience teaching French to primary and/or secondary students
- Strong knowledge of the French language, culture, and literature
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create a stimulating and supportive learning environment
- Proficiency in using educational technology and resources to enhance teaching and learning
- Familiarity with the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
