Full Stack Software Engineer
This is an opportunity for an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join a well-established, industry leading firm within the Halifax area who specialise in the design and supply of specialist audio equipment. They focus on making sure their employees thrive and succeed within their roles.
We are looking for a full stack software engineer to develop and deliver professional audio products utilising embedded, web UI technology and device networking experience. Working in a cross-functional team, you will be involved in all parts of the software lifecycle; from specification and design through to maintenance.
Main activities and responsibilities of the Full Stack Software Engineer:
Working with Product managers and other engineers to create specifications for new software products.
Required to provide estimates for development tasks and contribute towards planning of developments.
Design and develop software to meet product requirements and ensure a high standard of quality and reliability.
Working closely with product testers to identify and resolve defects.
Competences required of the Full Stack Software Engineer:
Degree or equivalent experience in a software or related subject.
3 years embedded development using C++, web UI technologies and TCP/IP networking.
A good understanding of hardware platforms and how s/w & f/w components work together.
Software development for embedded platforms.
