Fund Finance Lawyer - Director, Commodities and Global Markets EMEA

Utilise your secured financing experience to act as a deal lawyer supporting the Fund Finance desk. You will work hand-in-hand with the business to advise on the structuring, negotiation and documentation of bespoke structured fund financing transactions and draft and negotiate related documentation. You will closely oversee, guide and manage cross-border external counsel teams and liaise with various internal control functions.

We would expect you to have 7+ years of relevant legal experience at a top-tier law firm and/or in-house legal experience in the financial industry. You will bring significant experience with complex, multi-jurisdiction secured financing transactions and exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

You will have the ability to critically scrutinize complex legal structures and documentation, fastidious attention to detail and refined drafting skills. Experience across fund finance, private equity and hedge funds (formation and/or as transaction counterparty), derivatives, structured products, securities laws and insolvency concepts will be highly regarded.
