If you're a Registered Nurse with post-graduate Critical Care qualification looking for a full-time role with excellent benefits and ongoing training and development programmes, Leaders in Care has an exciting opportunity for you. We are recruiting a Critical Care/Recovery Nurse for an HDU / Recovery team in London, and the role offers a salary of up to £43,214 with progressive band structuring.
The Recovery Senior Staff Nurse will provide level 2 critical care to patients undergoing invasive procedures admitted to the hospital as well as patients admitted via the medical ward. You can also expect to provide level 3 critical care as required and provide support to the wards via the Outreach Service.
To give you an idea of how this Critical Care/Recovery Nurse role will look and feel, here are some areas you can expect to work in:
Assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating a high level of critical care for patients
Delivering a high level of post anaesthetic care for patients within the Theatre Recovery Room
Working with the Anaesthetic team to provide high-quality, safe patient care
Delivering an Outreach service to the ward, offering support and guidance in caring for the acutely unwell patient
Promoting the safety, well-being and interests of patients, visitors, and staff in the clinical areas

We are looking for an RN with recognised post-graduate Critical Care qualification and at least 5 years of experience within the Critical Care environment. You must possess experience within the Theatre Recovery Room environment and the following:
Competence in delivering a high level of critical and post-anaesthetic care
Good computer and numeracy skills
Ability to analyse and put into practice evidence-based practice
High level of communication skills within all disciplines
Flexibility in response to the needs of the department and ability to deliver a high level of customer service to patients and Consultants
