Head of Commercial Finance
Reading, South East, United Kingdom
A leading Private Equity backed Technology business is looking to hire a Head of Commercial Finance to come onboard and help drive a best in class Commercial & FP&A function, partnering with their Sales and Deal teams to grow revenue and profitability.
The business is highly flexible, with 2 days per week in the office and the rest from home.
Responsibilities shall include but are not limited to:
Lead all commercial activities; driving insights, pricing, deal discussions and terms as well as ad-hoc scenario modelling opportunities
Provide insightful commentary to the Group CFO, CEO and private equity team
Build business cases to commercially evaluate key business opportunities to assess potential potential return on investment (ROI)
Play a key role in system improvements and enhancements across all planning and forecasting processes
Part of leadership team with exposure to c-suite and presenting to steerco on business performance
M&A activities/integration to support with any acquisitions
Management of up to two direct reports
To succeed in this role:
Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
Relevant FP&A/Commercial Finance experience in a high performance and high growth organisation
Hands on, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to partner with non finance stakeholders and influence key commercial decision making
Candidates with a prior background in Technology or Telecommunication industries are highly sought after
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate results
