Head of Finance

£90,000 + package

A Private Equity backed outsourcing services business, with a strong social purpose, is recruiting a Head of Finance. This is a newly created role reporting directly to the CFO in a rapidly growing and profitable business. This is an exciting time for the company and the successful candidate will play a major part in driving growth. You will have opportunity to progress into a more senior role quickly.
You will lead the financial accounting and management reporting teams. You will work closely with senior colleagues to drive commercial performance. The work you and your team deliver will drive understanding of the business through clear and effective reporting and strong financial controls. This is a high profile and varied role, taking overall responsibility for all accurate and robust management accounting, financial reporting, audit and the AP / cash management teams. You will be expected to introduce a new suite of Management Information reporting, other system improvements and effective cashflow management. You will work closely with senior colleagues on supporting the strategic planning and other performance enhancing initiatives. E.g. new acquisitions, and effective financial planning and business modelling work.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant who can demonstrate the ability to lead a finance team in a fast paced and growing business. You will have credibility with senior non finance colleagues and support the business strategically with insightful analysis and project delivery. You will be able to understand a contracts-based business model and operate effectively in this kind of environment.
This role is office based with the option to work from home up to 2 days per week.
