Job Description
My client is an established college looking for an experienced Head of Health and Safety Operations to join their expanding Estates and Facilities team across their various sites within London.
Duties include:
- Implement the Health and Safety and Management System through engagement with key stakeholders.
- To ensure rigorous risk assessment and accident management systems are in place and audited and to take part in these as appropriate
- To work with HR to identify Health & Safety training needs for employees and develop management controls to ensure this training need is continually updated and reviewed.
- To oversee and manage the Health & Safety budget reporting monthly to the Estates Director.
- To manage the delivery of training to staff members.
- Provide operational leadership and support for all departments on regulatory Health & safety compliance issues.
- To manage and maintain the safety management system for and on behalf of the College.
Salary: £55,000- £60,000 (dependant on experience)
This role is a permanent position but would consider an interim placement.
35 hours per week. Monday to Friday
