  • Bring people together - we create opportunities for people to connect, virtually or in-person

A small team with the potential to have an outsize influence - we're 'the voice of SCUK' within the organisation, so what we do sets the tone for the culture being built. We take that responsibility seriously.

  • Progress SCUK's inclusion and diversity agenda and anti-racism commitments across every aspect of SCUK's internal communications operating model and offer
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and wider leadership team, supporting them to lead the organisation effectively by managing their engagement with staff across SCUK in a way that builds trust and inspires confidence
  • Manage regular CSLT meetings to maintain a strong relationship between CSLT and ELT, supporting CSLT colleagues to collectively role model inclusive leadership and ways of working.

About you

You'll be an excellent relationship builder, ideally demonstrating experience maintaining strong cross-organisational relationships at all levels and developing internal networks. To be successful, you'll bring:

  • Excellent writing and editorial skills, with the ability to distil complex information into clear, compelling communications
  • The ability to spot and mitigate risks before they become crises, and take a proportional, proactive approach to reputation management
  • Proven experience building and maintaining relationships at all levels of an organisation and acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership
  • Commitment to driving progress against the SCUK'sDiversity & Inclusion strategy and the Executive Leadership Team's anti-racism commitments
