A prestigious, well-known organisation are looking for a Head of IT, and will have primary responsibility for the oversight, maintenance and development of their IT services and you'll play a key part in the leadership and development of IT policy and strategies and their implementations.
You will be managing the IT and all the functions that fall in the remit of the IT department such as the admin, configurations and monitoring of the infrastructure, systems and platforms. You'll also oversee the information security policy and the mitigating the risks of loss of information due to cyber security issues.
Experience:
- In depth understanding of Microsoft environments (M365, Win10, AD, Group Policy etc)
- Experience of virtualisation
- Helped to implemtn IT Policies and Procedures
- Supporting enterprise networking inc Firewalls, Routers, Aps, VPNs TCP/IP, LAN/ WAN etc
- Have mentored and junior IT engineers
You will be a key part in developing and growing the IT function moving forward. Currently you'll be managing 2 engineers but there are plans for this team to grow and the department to expand. You'll be a key player in helping the organisation to constantly improve their service.
