Working for our prestigious client in the heart of Dorking, this role focusses on assisting and heading the Property Management department and look after a portfolio of residential units and a team of 2 Coordinators. You will need to be a car owner and hold a full driving licence.
Job Description:
- Directly responsible for the success of the Property Management service
- Dealing with all property maintenance issues and reporting them on the CRM and online reporting portal
- Obtaining quotations from contractors and arranging maintenance works
- Liaise with Contractors, Tenants and Landlords to ensure all statutory certificates are in place and renewed as necessary
- Handling the following; Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), Gas Safety tests, Electrical Safety test, Boiler Services, Chimney Sweeping and PAT Testing
- Legislation focused, knowledge of current and up and coming compliance for landlords
- Dealing with End of Tenancy process and deposit returns
- Negotiating between Landlord and Tenant to resolve any damages and liaising with tenancy deposit scheme where necessary
- Oversee the smooth running of the department
Person Specification:
- Previous experience in residential lettings property maintenance
- Management experience with the ability to drive a team forward
- Excellent IT skills Recording all accurate file notes on the property management system
- Can multi-task and work under pressure
- Attention to detail
- Well-presented and professional always
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A good sense of humour
Additional Information:
- Based in Dorking
- Circa £35,000
- Monday – Friday, 9am – 6pm
- Every third Saturday 9am – 1pm with time off in lieu the following week
