To provide full advisory support for the operational team to maximise people efficiency and to help drive the right behaviours in line with the company values at site level.

My client is a well established, international procurement and distribution business seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic individual to join their team!

Description

The key responsibilities:

  • Provide administration support for all absence management and ER case work and escalate any complex issues to the HR Manager by following up with all paperwork and ensuring managers have all relevant information to hand.
  • Work with site leadership to proactively manage absence on a weekly basis.
  • Work with the OH provider to submit new cases and support ongoing cases and ensure process is followed.
  • Provide key data to site leadership to help deliver improvements within Recruitment, ER, absence and retention.
  • Ensure the ER tracker system is fully utilised and all work requests are dealt with and prioritised.
  • Provide support as note taker for low level disciplinary hearings.
  • Provide Recruitment support and advice to internal stakeholders ensuring that the recruitment policy has been followed for all vacancies.
  • Ensure that advertising is fit for purpose and contain a true reflection of the role requirements across all recruitment and social media platforms.
  • Promote IPL as an employer of choice. Assist with the design of innovative attraction campaigns.
  • Review candidate applications in line with role specification.
  • Support with end to end recruitment process, CV submissions, arranging interviews, attending interviews, giving interview feedback, declining and hiring candidates.
  • Provide administration support for new starter submissions, day 1 checks, probation reviews.
  • Liaise with HRBP's to ensure compliance to the sign off process

Profile

The successful candidate:

  • CIPD level 3 (willing to work towards) or previous experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent demonstration of spoken and written English.
  • Working in a confidential environment.
  • Highly organised and able to work to deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - friendly and approachable
  • Conversant with all MS packages
