HR Advisor/Assistant HRBP, Healthcare, Band 5 (circa £27,000-32,000), Kings Lynn, Hybrid Offering
Your new company
Hays are partnering with a well known healthcare provider to support the recruitment of a HR Advisor. This role is currently offered on a 12-month FTC, and sits within Band 5 (circa £27,000-32,000). This role sits within the Business Partner team and will assist the team in providing generalist advice to trust managers and employees on routine HR issues, including policy, procedures, and terms and conditions of service.
This role requires a minimum of 3 days on site in Kings Lynn.
Your new role
Primarily, you will be supporting the HR Business Partners in providing administrative support through the provision and analysis of information, statistic compilation, and key service support areas. Your main duties and relevant responsibilities will be as below:

  • Acting as a point of contact for HR queries
  • Supporting HRBP's with the interpretations and applications of Trust policies, procedures, and NHS T&C's.
  • Monitoring change in employment policies, law, and ensuring that the BP's are briefed and effectively updated.
  • Support and dealing of HR matters related to attendance, capability, performance, disciplinaries, and resourcing issues.
  • Proactive support of absence minimisation programmes.
  • Support the provision of effective employee relations casework management.
  • Attend first level meetings as appropriate, note taking, and providing sound advice.
  • Work with Training Manager to determine L&D requirements.
  • Use the electronic system to input information, update employee records, and ensure workforce follows compliance legislation.
  • Maintain a commitment to DEI practices & site Health and Safety.
  • Other duties commensurate of the role grade.


What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, it is essential that you have a relevant HR qualification (CIPD), or time spent within similar positions. You will hold a good standard of education and have excellent word processing skills. You will have experience working within fast paced and challenging environments, with a strong competency in HR administration and T&C's.
You will have experience in handling complex demands and have excellent time management skills. You will be able to communicate to all levels of staff, with credibility, confidentiality, and respect
