Job Description

Our client is a rapidly expanding global law firm recognised for their continued success, they are now seeking a Human Resources Business Partner – Projects to join their growing team in their London offices on a permanent basis.


The main responsibilities for the HR Business Partner – Projects role will be to work with key stakeholders both internal and external to lead and deliver key projects involving strategic change. Primarily leading and driving people impacting projects and change initiatives and will involve project planning, coordination, implementation reporting and administration.


Duties will include:
 

  • Advising, planning, and delivering on re-organisations, restructurings, redundancies, and TUPE transfers.
  • Supporting the wider projects teams in planning and coordinating the annual activities such as performance moderation, salary moderation, talent management & succession planning and committee processes.
  • Developing and sustaining strong business relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Leading key workstreams in relation to the merger and the ongoing integration plans.
  • Working with key stakeholders on various change-management projects.
  • Developing and executing communication and engagement plans working with our communications partners for project or change initiatives including creation of materials as appropriate.
  • Proposing new ideas that may lead to better strategic decisions and supporting the delivery of the firm’s growth agenda.
  • Partnering with the wider business to ensure initiatives and solutions have full support while influencing and supporting change management across.
  • Attending key project governance meetings providing timely updates to key stakeholders.

The HR Business Partner – Projects will have proven experience working in a HR project team/at Business Partner level or HR Operations/generalist experience with project responsibilities, ideally gained in a professional services environment. Proven evidence of strong project management skills and demonstrable experience in leading large scale change projects will be essential. Along with excellent attention to detail and strong presentation skills including production of high-quality Board papers, reports and internal communications while managing competing demands. The right candidate will have experience of building effective relationships with senior stakeholders and strong influencing skills while adapting to changing priorities. The HR Business Partner will possess discretion and inspire confidence and respect at all levels. Strong IT skills, good experience of HR databases and advanced user of PowerPoint and Excel with the ability to analyse, interpret and report on key themes to make business recommendations will be crucial along with being a confident, driven and solutions focused professional.
