Our client is an established business in the Hospitality Sector with a base in the St. Albans area.

The business has grown to a size that it is now looking for an HR Director to join the leadership team to establish a People focussed strategy.

The business is based on the northern outskirts of London in the St. Albans area.

The business is an SME but it has been very successful and has grown to a size that it is now looking for an HR Director to join the leadership team to establish a People focussed strategy.

Description

As HR Director you will be based out of the St. Albans area.

The role will manage a team but requires an HR Director who is able to focus on the people strategy of the business while also being able to work operationally on day to day HR issues as required.

In the main the focus will be on delivering a people strategy to tackle issues affecting a business in the Hospitality industry that includes:

  • Recruitment and Retention
  • Development of Talent
  • Culture and Engagement
  • Diversity and Inclusion

Profile

The successful candidate will live locally in the north London area, St. Albans or Hatfield.

You must be able to demonstrate experience working in the Hospitality and Catering sector or a similar sector such as Leisure or Retail.

You must be able to show experience and success working at board level to find solutions to those people issues currently affecting the industry. Key areas you must have worked on include developing talent internally, developing recruitment strategies in a market where there is a high turnover of staff, developing D&E and creating a culture of excellence to underpin a luxury service.
