Role Summary:

As an HR & Employment Law Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive HR support and employment law advice for business owners across the UK. You will manage client relationships and provide solutions tailored to their needs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Drafting and reviewing contracts of employment, employee handbooks, and day-to-day letters and documents such as disciplinary invites and outcome letters.
  • Advising on employment law matters, including TUPE, redundancy, discrimination, and unfair dismissal, ensuring compliance with current legislation.
  • Leading HR projects, such as organisational development and change management.
  • Conducting disciplinary hearings and other HR-related proceedings.
  • Occasional travel, only when absolutely necessary, to client sites for consultations and project implementation.


Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong foundation in HR practices and employment law.
  • Proven experience in HR consultancy or a similar role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Must possess a valid driving licence and be open to business travel as needed.
  • Team-oriented, and comfortable working autonomously.
