Up To £230 p/day inside IR35
3 Month Initial Contract
Willingness to travel and stay overnight if necessary (Expenses are covered)
Description
As an IT Field Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operations of our client's IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, fixing hardware and network issues, and dealing with major incidents across various locations. This role demands a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and excellent customer service to meet the IT needs across our clients' sites. These are predominantly in South Wales; however, there are also sites in other locations in the UK.
You will need to have a strong background in troubleshooting and know how to effectively escalate issues if they arise.
You will be expected to have most, if not all, of the following experience:
- Proven and demonstrable software and hardware troubleshooting skills, experience in a Support role
- Microsoft Windows 7 and 10 Operating Systems – Deployment, configuration and support
- Experience with the Office 365
- Windows Server Support and Domain management
- Microsoft SCCM
- Experience in Virtual Server Management, Networking, DNS
- Excellent customer-facing experience and strong communication skills
