Our Team
The Insights & Partnerships department sits at the heart of our product evolution. Our purpose is to convert data into actionable insights, and strategic recommendations to support our GEEIQ users to make informed decisions in virtual worlds.
In line with our expansion at GEEIQ, we’re excited to welcome an Insights and Data Analyst to the team. We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about translating deep analysis into insights and conclusions that everyone can grasp.

Your Focus

The Insights and Data Analyst’s role is to help internal and external stakeholders understand how they can most effectively drive business growth, through the delivery of analysis and storytelling. This will require a blend of technical data analysis skills and a practical understanding of how this information impacts our product strategy.
Collaborating closely with the Insights & Partnerships Director, this role will be instrumental in extracting brand-specific insights that will be used to develop bespoke product dashboards, measurement tools, and comprehensive reports.
You will have an eye for detail and possess the ability to find unique and relevant data insight trends, ahead of the curve. Working closely with our client-facing teams (Marketing, Client Services and Product) you will be the trusted go-to person for all things reporting and insights, with a knack for developing simple visualizations for complex findings.

Key Responsibilities

Data Interpretation & Insight Generation:
  • Process data using tools to manipulate and transform data into usable format.
  • Interpret complex data sets, turning raw data and pre-processed data into valuable insights that inform both our internal strategies and our customers' decisions.
  • Decipher patterns and trends from large volumes of data, translating these findings into actionable intelligence.
Reporting & Visualisation:
  • Championing a data-driven culture, partnering with internal stakeholders to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Formulate relevant research and analytical approaches to solve client problems and address industry challenges.
  • Develop comprehensive reports and visualizations that clearly communicate findings.
  • Create dashboards and presentations that allow both technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand the insights derived from the data.
Collaborative Insight Development:
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop innovative solutions and enhance GEEIQ product offerings in alignment with market demands and client needs.
  • Work closely with different departments, including marketing, product development, and customer success teams, to ensure that the insights you generate are aligned with business objectives and can be effectively integrated into business strategies and product development.
  • Support the development of thought leadership content and knowledge assets, contributing to industry publications.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices to provide valuable insights and recommendations.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Business, Economics, or Data Science.
  • 3 + years of proven experience in market research, data analysis, or strategic insights role.
  • Focus on B2C Media sectors such as gaming, digital entertainment, or social media would be an advantage.
  • Proficient in database querying and manipulation across diverse platforms such as MySQL, MongoDB, etc. with a proven track record of leveraging reporting tools to extract actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets
  • Strong analytical skills to synthesize, analyze, and deliver data and insights tailored to specific client contexts.
  • Experience utilising Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) and attribution models to optimize advertising campaigns.
  • Data manipulation and analysis utilizing programming languages such as Python and R, an understanding of their application in extracting insights from complex datasets.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, with the capability to translate complex data insights into actionable strategies.
  • Experience in a SaaS or data analytics environment.
