As an Inventory & Supply Lead at Druck, you will be joining the Materials team and report into the Materials Manager. This role will take day to day responsibility for the management and reporting of the Leicester site's inventory and work closely alongside the Sales and Operational Planning process to ensure that Druck's inventory is optimised for Customer demand.
As an Inventory & Supply Lead, you will also be responsible for:

  • Working closely with the Materials Manager, you will lead the day to day management of the site's inventory to optimise inventory levels and stock-turn targets, and reduce the number of days stock is held to achieve appropriate inventory levels and therefore supporting our customers' needs.
  • Leading the reporting of the site inventory to the Digital Solutions and Baker Hughes levels of the business.
  • Improving inventory accuracy of WIP/Shop floor stock through management of weekly cycle counting across all areas.
  • Supporting the Planning team in the review and achievement of key performance measures in inventory and WIP.
  • Working with the Planning Manager on inventory related aspects of New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and delivery of new product to Customer request dates.
  • Managing the Druck wide material obsolescence/disposal process.
  • Working with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Leader and Materials Manager to drive achievable demand and supply plans through proactive involvement within the commercial process.
  • Collaborating with the Druck facility in China and the Service Centres and Sales offices across the world to optimise inventory where required.
  • Root cause analysis of issues and implementation of robust process fixes.
  • Developing the improvement projects deck in collaboration with the Materials Manager and lead improvement project activity where appropriate.

Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have a sound understanding of all aspects of the supply chain including raw materials, production and logistics. Analytical, you will also be an excellent communicator who is able to build strong relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Have minimum of 3 years relevant experience, gained in a manufacturing environment with potentially experience in Lean manufacturing.
  • Have knowledge of manufacturing planning, obsolescence processes and cycle counting.
  • Have good understanding of MS Office applications, specifically Excel.
  • Ideally have experience in using SAP.
