Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Oil & Gas experienced IT Business Partner to join us on a contract basis in London. As IT Business Partner you will report to the IT Director and will manage a small, agile and dedicated team focussed on providing leadership, high quality technical guidance and strategic direction to local IT teams. Communication & influencing skills along with personal gravitas to create relationships at senior levels Knowledge of ITIL & ITSM processes and experience using the ServiceNow tool suite Experience managing suppliers and working with third party support providers Knowledge of IT compliance standards and experience applying Sox/ISO controls Commercial awareness and experience managing budgets Participation on an IT transformation program and knowledge of transformation processes Knowledge of project management processes and experience running an agile project team Identity management and experience of Active Directory and Okta Maintaining a data centre and knowledge of data centre standards and best practices Knowledge of virtual platforms and technologies Managing data stores and ensuring proper data protection Knowledge of network standards, protocols and telecommunication services Cloud hosting and storage platforms including MS Azure, AWS and GCP O365 messaging, communication and collaboration tools Migration from on-premise services to cloud platforms Enable collaboration between local IT teams and the central IT functions Support and drive IT transformation program Ensure that the local IT teams maximise the use of the central IT procurement function Improve the standards of IT documentation, process and reporting Support corporate goals in the areas of compliance, security and data privacy Ensure accurate and timely financial budgeting and reporting Maintain knowledge and awareness of strategy and tools through regular scheduled workshops with the Specialist Agencies Strategic Architect and by reviewing IT documentation Through engagements with the Software Asset Management team, maintain knowledge and awareness of licensing agreements Schedule and lead regular workshops with local IT teams to offer technology guidance and support Assist with business cases and drive new IT developments through to completion Develop and maintain the central knowledgebase of IT services Manage the collation of KPI metrics and develop effective reporting standards Act as an escalation and coordination point for major incidents and severe service affecting events Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders and assist with the regular IT budgeting cycles If you are interested in this position, please submit your CV/Resume to making sure to reference IT Business Partner - London - Job Ref 1045 Rachael Jaypalan Rachael is responsible for all aspects of HR ranging from recruitment, selection, compensation & benefits, employee relations and more.
