IT Contract Manager - London (2 days per week on-site) - up to £55k
We are currently working with a leading housing association to recruit for an IT Contract Manager on a permanent basis.
The role is offered on a hybrid working policy with an expectation of 2 days per week on-site in the office.
As an IT Contract Manager, you will provide specialist experience and expertise to Technology colleagues when managing existing contracts, procuring or re-procuring systems and services. Your knowledge and support will make the process as fast and efficient as possible and ensure that ongoing contract management and procurement is conducted compliantly.
You will report into the IT Commercial Contract Manager and will work alongside a team of two other IT Contract Managers.
The job holder will be responsible for the following primary aspects:
* Managing the performance of suppliers and ensuring the delivering of effective and efficient services to the organisation.
* Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
* Develop, review and hold suppliers accountable to agreed key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Maintaining Procurement Plans for applications and services on the Application/Contract Register.
* Supporting Project Managers and other colleagues to create quality, repeatable procurement documentation, including procurement plans, using templates and previous documentation wherever possible to accelerate and simplify the process
* Providing a point of contact and liaison with Procurement ensuring consistency of approach and quality
The job holder will be involved in:
* Acting as Subject Matter Expert for Procurement related activity within Technology, ensuring that the optimum Procurement approach is always adopted
* Working with Procurement to ensure that the overall procurement process runs quickly and effectively, group procurement policies are adhered to.
Skills and Experience:
* A good understanding of procurement processes ideally gained in a public sector background. Experience with Procurement frameworks and processes is desirable.
* A strong technical IT background, with a sound understanding of IT technologies. Experience in Business Analysis and or Applications Management is highly desirable.
* Previous Contract Management experience highly desirable.
* Strong analytical skills, able to distil complex issues and express them concisely and accurately
* Organised and methodical. Able to juggle multiple demand and priorities and calm under pressure. Outcome focused
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
