We are working with an exciting well-known organisation in Edinburgh who are looking for a new2nd line Desktop Support Technician to join the team on a contract basis!
This role would suita skilledDesktop Support Technician, with experience in troubleshooting andmaintaininginternal IT systems.
The ideal candidate should have:
Experience with a range of operating systems and software applications (O355, Email, Windows 10/11 etc)
Knowledge of network and server technologies
Replace, Deploy, Image and Troubleshoot Laptop/PCHardware
Excellent communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Troubleshoot assigned tickets to determine if issue can be resolved or determine appropriate group for escalation.
Maintain positive relations through effective customer follow-up.
Familiarity with hardware and software troubleshooting
This is initially a 6-month position with possibilities for extension, offering a day rate of £230/day inside IR35
