Technical IT Infrastructure Manager, ITIL, Microsoft 365, Mainly On-site Technical IT Infrastructure Manager required to work for an exciting company based in Milton Keynes. This will mainly be on-site and you can work from home circa 2 days per week. It will be your role to manage the IT infrastructure to ensure they are consistently maintaining high standards across the firms IT Systems and ensure a smooth delivery of services to their users, customers and suppliers. We need a seasoned IT Infrastructure Manager who has exposure to the following: Hands on technical skills with the likes of VMWare, Azure and Microsoft 365 Strong, proven Cloud Infrastructure skills Hardened 3 rd Party Supplier Management skills (therefore good, strong management skills) Experience of building / creating policy documents for governance etc Process driven where you can look at the existing, create roadmaps for the future and provide execution Knowledge of Cyber Security (as you would be working closely with the Head of Cyber Security) Read on for more details Key responsibilities include: Maintain the uptime of our core IT infrastructure adhering to agreed SLAs. Propose and define an Infrastructure strategy covering the full lifecycle through procurement, support, maintenance, and warranty for delivery through our support partner. Lead the infrastructure outsourced support team as they build out and support on premise and cloud-based solutions. Ensure deadlines are met, balancing priorities to manage and lead various implementation projects alongside incoming IT infrastructure related issues / non-conformances. Administration of VMWare, Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft 365 Suite, WAF, Firewalls, Switches, and telephony solution. Integration with Identity Access Management (IAM) and Single Sign on (SSO)Solutions. Configuration of various security and compliance settings across the Microsoft Stack to adhere to corporate information security policies. Work closely with the IT Cyber Security Manager, ensuring technical controls are in place to safeguard our people, data, and systems. Manage relationships with Core IT Suppliers. Develop, execute, and maintain IT Infrastructure related procedures, standards, policies, and training plans.
