Here's a very interesting opportunity for an IT Manager to join a Fife based company to run a small and perfectly formed IT function within this global manufacturing business.
Due to the unique nature of this sector, it would be best if you came from the manufacturing industry with an understanding of how their systems and processes integrate with ordering, manufacture, packaging and distribution etc.
The successful applicant will enjoy a salary up to £70k together with a generous car allowance and bonus as well as excellent pension contributions and life insurance. The business requires you to work on-site 5 days a week though there is some flexibility to work from home on those odd occasions that life throws you a curve ball.
It is very rare that IT roles come up in this business and to be considered you should bring the following skillsand experience:
Demonstrable experience of managing a small IT team (5 people +)
Experience of budget management of around £1million per annum
Strong project delivery skills with demonstrable 3rd party vendor management and negotiating skills
A hands-on approach to IT Management, willing to get your hands dirty with the rest of the team
Solid technical understanding of all aspects of the IT function; Windows & Unix Servers, Networking, Telephone, ERP, Software applications etc.
Previous experience of Manufacturing Systems management including implementation & migrations etc.
