This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, progressive and forward-looking Managed Service Provider and IT Consultancy.
We are looking to recruit a confident, proactive and organised individual to join our busy and dynamic Managed Services team. The role will be managing and leading the outsourced IT support provision at one of our Multi Academy Trust clients and is a full-time onsite position. The best candidates can expect to take a senior lead role across our Education client base.
You must have a professional, flexible and personable approach to client relations and should demonstrate initiative and possess the ability to prioritise.

Responsibilities:
- Owning the onsite service desk
- Managing prompt response and resolution of support requests and incidents
- Taking ownership of escalated issues
- Managing and maintaining Server 2016/19/22 infrastructure
- Supporting Microsoft 365-based products and end-users
- Creating and updating documentation and processes
- Mentoring and leading junior members of the team
Essential requirements:
- Experience working in education or a customer-focused environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of IT standards and protocols, and legislation including GDPR
- Significant experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud technologies
- Sound knowledge of Active Directory
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Server Operating Systems
- Knowledge of Microsoft Configuration Manager
- Familiarity with basic network protocols
- Passionate about IT and technology
- Proactive, personable, confident and analytical
