IT Service Manager
Duration- 6 Months initial
Rate- £ market rate to umbrella
Location- Local Office twice a week
We're looking for a robust Supplier Manager to join a financial services company. The person that they're looking for must have a strong background in IT Governance, Audit and Regulatory actions as well as a strong service management background.
Must have Agile and Waterfall project delivery experience, dealing with a high level of escalations and experience dealing with tricky suppliers.
A bit about the job:
In this role, you will lead a team who both monitors and provides assurance for specific controls for one of Aviva's critical suppliers.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
Aptitude for fostering positive relationships, preferably with key IT providers.
Excellent stakeholder management including senior managers, and ability to work well with others at all levels and clearly translate between the technology and business teams.
Ability to assimilate technical and business-related information and communicate appropriately.
Problem/dispute management skills to ensure any obstacles to performance are resolved.
It would be beneficial if you can demonstrate the following:
Previous experience in outsourcing/third party relationship management
