IT Support Engineer - Trainee / Experienced
Due to continued growth, our weLL-established client in the IT and Software industry is now recruiting for an
IT Support Engineer - Trainee / Experienced to join their friendly and hardworking team in Quedgeley on a permanent, full time basis.
In this role, no particular length of experience is required, but any interest or experience in IT/tech would be desirable. This role will have lots of direct training, and you will be joining a wider support team that service businesses of all sizes, both locally as well as around the globe. Lots of progression opportunities available as you learn and develop.
Although this is an office-based role, you may be required to visit other business sites so a driving licence is essential.
Key Responsibilities - IT Support Engineer - Trainee / Experienced
-Providing helpdesk and onsite support for various clients
-Managing own workload of tickets to ensure SLAs are met
-Escalation of issues to 3rd party software and systems suppliers where necessary
-1st Line technical support (phone, email and in person)
-Installation of new hardware and software
-Equipment fault finding/troubleshooting, and repairs.
-Regular/scheduled support site visits
Key Attributes - IT Support Engineer - Trainee / Experienced
-Driving licence
-Interest or prior experience in IT
-Clear communicator
-Enthusiastic member of the team
Hours:8:30am- 5:30pm (1hr lunch)
Salary:Up to £23,000 depending on experience
