Job Description
Are you an enthusiastic IT Support Technician looking for a new challenge in tech? We are seeking a skilled IT Engineer to join an IT Solutions company based in Preston which has been successfully operating for over 20 years.
Joining a close-knit team of 5, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting hardware and software issues, as well as providing remote and on-site technical assistance to our clients. You will also be involved in deploying and configuring new systems, maintaining servers, and ensuring network security and data backups.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year experience in an IT Support role, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure. You should have experience with Microsoft technologies as well as an understanding of networking, IT security and cloud computing.
Required Skills:
Knowledge of Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 and up to Windows 11 Operating System
Active Directory / DHCP / DNS
Office 365 experience
Strong communication skills and troubleshooting issues.
Basic understanding of networking.
Full UK driving licence
