Impression Recruitment are working on an exciting and rare opportunity to join our industry leading client based in Thirsk as an IT Systems Engineer. You will ensure the proficient operation of the I.T Infrastructure ranging from networking to server operating systems and end user escalations.
As the successful IT Systems Engineer your duties will include:
Handling the management of servers, switches, and associated IT infrastructure.
Provide 3rd line IT Support and act as the main contact for System Administrators.
Being involved in numerous projects and acting as Technical Lead when required.
Implementation, design, and support of network infrastructure including firewalls, routers and switches (Cisco Networking)
Deploying new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software and operating systems.
Cyber Security Essentials knowledge along with ISO027001.
Assist in the planning, development, and maintenance of IT systems across the organisation.
Assist with mentoring and development of System Administrators.
System Skills:
Meraki Access Points
Microsoft SQL Server, Azure with experience of Microsoft Server Operating Systems
Active Directory
VMware ESXi
VOIP Telephony
HPE SAN Exposure
The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a similar level role, preferably 4+ years. You will have the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and be able to offer support to the System Administrators when required. In return you will receive a salary up to £45,000 per annum along with an excellent benefits package!
