IT Systems Engineer - Lincoln - Up to £55,000 - International IT environment - Remote first What's in it for you? This is an opportunity to take ownership over the IT infrastructure for the UK and European region and have autonomous working environment. Working with the a team dotted around the world you will be building, improving and supporting a worldwide IT infrastructure for an international business which is private equity backed to become a big name in their industry. The Role As a IT Systems Engineer you will be responsible for supporting all IT systems administration and networking in the UK office as well as the wider international environment. Reporting to the Group IT director, you will be working alongside other engineers across the world to deliver the total solution. The main environment is a Microsoft stack of Hyper-V, Windows Server, Office 365 and Active Directory. Mixed in with this is a few bespoke applications which need to be hosted and supported as well as a small Linux environment. Therefore some essential experience is: Windows Server Active Directory, Group Policy Virtualised Environment Exposure Excellent Communication This role would not require and people management responsibilities. However this could change in time. Due to the international nature of the business, you will not be required to be "on call". The Company This international business operate mainly within the Construction Industry delivering an all encompassing service to large infrastructure projects. Operating across the world in 9 different countries, the Lincoln office is the centre for all UK and EMEA operations. You will be required to come into the office every day, with a honest level of flexibility. Due to the international nature of the business, you will not be required to be "on call".
