Role: IT Systems Manager
Location: Northampton
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
Our client, a Nationwide Healthcare company, is seeking a talented IT Manager to join their growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the office systems and infrastructure on a daily basis, while also leading a newly formed team of engineers to ensure everything is done correctly.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Virtualisation, with experience in managing and maintaining virtual machines and hypervisors.
* SDWAN Network infrastructure, with a strong understanding of networking protocols and security principles.
* Knowledge of software and hardware compliance, with experience in managing audits and ensuring all systems are up to date with industry regulations.
* Experience in troubleshooting and managing VoIP systems, with knowledge of SIP protocols and QoS principles.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to provide guidance and support to a team of engineers.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Strong project management skills, with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure and architecture principles, with experience in designing and implementing scalable and secure systems.
To be successful in this role, you should have experience in IT systems management, with a focus on virtualisation, network infrastructure, software and hardware compliance, and VoIP. You should also be highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities at once, and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
