Job Description
We are working with a growing professional services who are seeking an IT Technician to join their growing IT Team. Covering 1st and 2nd line support within a Windows Azure environment this is a great opportunity for a hands on IT Technician looking to develop their skill set and be involved in a number of exciting projects.
What will you be doing as an IT Technician
To provide support to the core IT infrastructure, services, and applications.
Provide 1st and 2nd line end user and application support to colleagues.
Work within an SLA's framework to meet response and resolution targets for incidents and service requests.
Deploy end user hardware such as desktops, laptops and tablets, cabling, printers, AV equipment and other peripherals as well as deployment and management of end user software.
Ensure adherence to policies, processes, procedures and best practice throughout the delivery of IT services.
Work in close collaboration with different resolver groups, both internal and external, to achieve positive outcomes.
What experience do you need as an IT Technician
Previous experience in an IT Support role offering 1st / 2nd Line Support ideally within in house team.
Experience of supporting applications and bespoke applications would be advantageous
Always demonstrate exceptional customer service, with clear and professional communication
Passion to succeed and the ability to identify and correct problems effectively and quickly
Travel to different sites in Bristol so must drive
Experience of customer facing hands on support and maintenance of the following technologies:
Cloud Services
Azure Tenancies
Azure Site Recovery
Azure Virtual Desktop
Microsoft 365 (including Exchange Online, Sharepoint, Intune)
Enterprise IT infrastructure
Windows Operating Systems (Domain Controllers, File Servers, SQL)
Networking (Switching, Routing, Firewalls),
Security Solutions (Anti-Virus, Email Filtering, Web Filtering)
Wireless Solutions

This role is based in Bristol and is commutable from Bath, Weston-Super-Mare, Thornbury, Yate and Chippenham.
