Interaction Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced IT Technician who is looking for progression for our long standing client based in Peterborough on a permanent basis
This is an ideal position for someone currently providing IT support but looking for their next role to offer more responsibility.
IT Technician
Salary: Up to £26K PA
Working hours are Mon - Fri 37.5 hours per week based in the office
This role will be to cover the day to day delivery of information technology vital to our clients business. You will be managing incidinents, problem solving and respond to service requests raised by users within our clients business.
Main Duties:
- Work closely with IT Manager and department managers to assess needs across the businessof the users and relevancy to the business
- Be responsible for purchasing IT and business services related to technology
- Responsible for the accurate information of IT Asset Inventory
- Day to day overseeing and development of the 1st line role. Providing cover and assistance when needed.
- Monitor IT Service Desk, resolve or escalate as needed.
- Provide support to the business and 3rd parties.
- Assisting of and following information and technology policies and procedure
- Keeping up to date with the most technologies and advancements especially in line with the business standards.
The ideal candidate:
- Drivers licence and access to a car as there may be some travel to nearby sites will be required but not often
- Have worked within a 1st Line Support role for at least 1-2 years
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Cloud based ERP systems
- Cyber Security Aware
