TSK: who we are, why we exist and what we do

We are strategy, design and build experts. Our team creates and delivers inspiring workplaces, making work amazing for people and businesses. We help organisations turn ground breaking ideas into reality, by delivering high quality, professional work at every stage of the Design and Build process.

Over the past three decades we’ve built a reputation for being a trusted and respected partner that genuinely cares about improving workplaces for people. What sets us apart is the quality of our people and our ability to bring together different perspectives and areas of expertise to deliver solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

The role and the work

We have an exciting 3-month opportunity for a talented writer to join an ever-growing business, joining our bid team during a busy period.

What you’ll do

  • Work alongside the Bid Manager, playing a key role in achieving growth objectives by supporting the business throughout the bid process.
  • Deliver compelling copy in line with the company’s brand, position and processes.
  • Take a proactive role in writing standard content and coordinating client-facing CVs.
  • Work with the Bid Manager to support, develop and improve the bid process and resource library.
  • Manage, write, and maintain the written content library.
  • Work on various stages of the tender process.

What you’ll need to be successful

  • Ability to support a truly collaborative bid process – respecting different points of view (from across all areas of sales, design, build and furniture) while seeking to deliver the most compliant and well written bid submissions.
  • Ability to coordinate many moving pieces, prioritise actions and communicate effectively with the wider project team so that everyone can contribute in good time and play their part well.
  • Detail oriented mindset & responsive behaviours – always maintain oversight of all tasks you’re responsible for and have up to date and accurate information available for others when needed.
  • Demonstrate honesty & integrity throughout all areas of the role. If there are problems, we expect you to raise them with the wider team so they can be resolved.
  • Desire to support continuous improvement within the Bid team and across TSK – feeding back lessons learned to inform future sales efforts and project delivery.

The ideal candidate

We’d like you to have experience in the following:

  • Writing compelling and accurate content to support a variety of needs.
  • Great communication skills and a high standard of written English.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of the bid cycle (not essential).
