Location: Hampton Wick / Hybrid – up to 40% of time travelling

Reports To: Head of Sales - UK Retail

Contract Type: Full time / Permanent

Contracted Hours/Days: 37.5 hours / 5 days

Salary: £45,000-£50,000 +£5.5,000 car allowance +£20,000 OTE

Purpose


The purpose of the Account Manager role is to:

· drive revenue from existing retail customers within the UK

· utilise existing relationships with retail customers to expand the UK customer base

· manage the onboarding of new customers from proof of concept through to full adoption.


Your Responsibilities


Account Management

  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them through their adoption journey
  • Manage relationships with key accounts to discuss current deployment, aims and

objectives

  • Manage the onboarding process for new customers
  • Monitor the refresh and contractual extension opportunities with existing customers
  • Proactively identify any addtional use case opportunities within the customer base
  • Collate information on any additional or new requirements and feedback to the development team
  • Arrange and attend meetings with all relevant customer stakeholders and internal Technical Account Manager, as required.

Sales Reporting


  • Maintain Salesforce and provide accurate management information, to assist with forecasting.
  • Ensure Head of Sales – UK Retail, is aware of products required to meet demand.


Product and Customer Knowledge


  • Work closely with internal colleagues to ensure up to date product knowledge and awareness of ongoing product developments.
  • Build understanding of customer challenges, needs, and issues.
  • Provide feedback from customers to appropriate internal teams.


Industry Knowledge and Awareness


  • Provide industry sector data and information, relating to technology needs and/or services to the business, as these are identified.
  • Attend trade shows as required.
  • Keep abreast of market trends and competitor activity.

Your Qualifications, Technical Skills and Experience


Essential

  • Three years experience in solution selling environment
  • Well deveoped selling skills including objection handling and closing
  • Experience engaging with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to travel
  • Full clean driving licence


Desirable


  • Body worn video experience
  • Knowledge of Salesforce
  • Business development experience
  • Experience selling to the retail industry
