About the role 👩💻
The Head of Data has been building appetite and use cases for Data Science and ML over the last 9 months and now are in a position to deliver this work.
You'll be responsible for a number of different things including:
🔧Delivering on the aims related to a wider Data Strategy
🔧Integrating recommender data science models to increase NGR
🔧Nurturing the Science function and growing a team by the end of the year
🔧Focusing on improving Data retention
🔧Gain a more in depth understanding of regulatory compliance & reporting
🔧Enhance your skills and lead a function using your expertise in developing ML models
And outside of the day-to-day projects:
- Staying on top of industry developments within the business and the Data Science community
- R&D/Product Development - developing new data science offerings and use cases
- Establishing and implementing best practice
- Mentoring and coaching other team members
What you need 😎
- Commercial experience applying ML models
- Python, SQL or R
- Any cloud data platforms would be great - AWS, Azure or GCP
- Any big data technologies like Hadoop would be great
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement
