About our Team
As a Software Engineering Lead, you will be leading and liaising with dynamic, passionate cross functional teams, where collaboration as a team is key.
About the Role
As the Software Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of software developers.
Responsibilities
- Writing and reviewing portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity.
- Working closely with other development team members to understand moderately complex product requirements and translate them into software designs.
- Mentoring and/or train entry-level software engineers as directed by department management.
- Managing and encourage new ideas from staff to foster improvements through innovations
- Serving as the initial point of escalation for software development issues within specific area of responsibility
Requirements
- Have experience of proficient coding skills in at least one programming language Java, Spring Boot, Angular,. We use Java back end development, Angular Front end and Postgresql.
- Be able to partner and lead internal and external technology resources in solving complex business needs.
- Be able to demonstrate proficiency with data manipulation language including optimization techniques.
- Be able to collaborate, support and drive team members to deliver on results, providing technical and professional guidance.
- Be able to design and work with complex data models.
