In this role, the successful Lead WordPress/PHP Developer will be the subject matter expert for the company on WordPress, and will be responsible for implementing new features, updating existing features and assisting sales and marketing with aspects of the website like SEO and performance
This role would suit a Lead WordPress/PHP Developer who loves autonomy and responsibility, and is ready to help really push a company to the next level, as well as working with huge clients such as the NHS and Metro Bank.
The Role
Being the subject matter expert for the company on WordPress, and will be responsible for implementing new features, updating existing features
Ensure we're building highly reusable and maintainable codebase
The Person
Excellent PHP knowledge
Excellent knowledge of WordPress including plugin development, REST APIs and
performance optimisation
Comfortable utilising project management tools such as JIRA
