Job Details:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Learning and Development Business Partner to join our national team on a fixed term basis for 12 months. The salary on offer is from £48,000 to £56,000 DOE with £3,500 car allowance.

The Learning and Development Business Partner has a key role to play in contributing to the learning and development strategy at NHSPS, ensuring that NHSPS is providing the correct interventions to build capability and competence. The role will report to the Head of Learning and Development.

A key focus of this role is to build effective strategic relationships with stakeholders across the organisation to understand the learning priorities of NHSPS and create appropriate solutions, which will meet specific needs and support strategic and cultural objectives.

Alongside this, the L&D Business Partner will design and deliver key leadership development programmes to senior leadership teams. They will work with subject matter experts across the business to design and build curricula to support new starters and develop professional skills, and will lead on management/leadership development and competency/behavioural development through their teams.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be responsible for ensuring business is aware of how it’s performing on customer journeys, follows up and manages improvement activity and shares best practice.
  • Understands issues functions may have with delivering desired performance and feeds back into journey managers.
  • Hold to account functions and teams for the performance of their customers journeys
  • Be a member of regional steercos representing the customer
  • Report on insights and works in close collaboration with complaints team to manage action log for specific customer improvements, driven by customer feedback

The ideal candidate will be an experienced trainer with a background of delivering in a high volume, fast pace environment across a wide range of stakeholders.
