Job Description
- Provide legal advice to various departments within the company
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Participate in business meetings and decision-making processes
- Develop and implement company policies and procedures
- Manage relationships with external legal counsel
- Provide training to company staff on legal matters
The Successful Applicant
A successful Legal Counsel should have:
- A law degree
- 2+ year PQE
- Proven experience as a Legal Counsel in the Transport & Distribution industry
- Strong knowledge of corporate law and legal issues related to business
- Excellent negotiation and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Outstanding communication skills and attention to detail
