Job Description
- Provide commercial legal advice and support to various business units.
- Conduct reviews of commercial agreements and contracts.
- Assist in corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Manage relationships with external legal advisors.
- Conduct legal training to internal stakeholders.
- Participate in the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures.
- Assist in managing legal risks within the business.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Legal Counsel - Commercial should have:
- A Qualified Solicitor in the UK or similar jurisdiction.
- Strong knowledge and experience in commercial and corporate law.
- Experience working in an in-house environment would be highly beneficial.
- Excellent negotiation and contract review skills.
- An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
