A rare opportunity has become available for an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join this global financial services institution based in Glasgow as Legal Counsel within the Litigation & Investigations team. Ideally, the role would be suitable for a Solicitor who is qualified in England & Wales or dual qualified however Scottish qualified solicitors with significant experience in English court/litigation procedure would also be invited to apply.

The successful candidate will join a team of around 20 Solicitors with5 currently based in Glasgow. You willwork within a team managing internal and external investigations (including enforcement and regulatory investigations) and contentious regulatory issues as well as advising on claims raised by or against the business. The role will also involveidentifying and managinglegal and regulatory risks and opportunities relating to the business and its clients and working with other infrastructure and business teams to manage those risks effectively. You will engage with some of the most senior stakeholders across the business and be involved in a range of high profile litigation including class actions as well as significant regulatory investigations.
The role offers flexible working which requires 2 days/week in the office which is situated in a world-class complex based in Glasgow city centre.
