Fully remote role.
We are working with a scaling technology firm who are now hiring new Product Counsel for the UK.
The have just completed first round of series A funding with a £20 million investment through a venture capitalist.
You will play a crucial role in providing legal guidance and support to their product and engineering teams, ensuring compliance with UK laws and regulations.
What you will be doing:
- Provide legal advice and guidance to our product and engineering teams, ensuring compliance with UK laws and regulations.
- Review and negotiate contracts and agreements, including privacy policies, terms of service, and intellectual property licenses.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various topics affecting the company's products and operations.
- Support the development and implementation of company policies and procedures related to legal and compliance matters.
Your experience:
- Law degree from an accredited UK university and admission to practice law in the UK or in a Commonwealth jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in the technology industry.
- 2+ PQE with top tier international law firm experience or Tier-1 tech company
- Experience in reviewing and negotiating contracts and agreements.
- Strong knowledge of UK laws and regulations.
- Knowledge of intellectual property laws and licensing agreements is a plus.
