In 2012, joint venture partners, Lincolnshire Co-op and the University of Lincoln, founded Lincoln Science & Innovation Park (LSIP) to create a world-class environment for science, research and innovation in the City. The Park has now expanded from two buildings to six buildings in 2022 and is planning to continue to grow in size over the next 5-10 years. The organisation is now restructured to focus on the enhanced demands from existing tenants and to provide a strong basis to support the planned growth trajectory.
The business is separated into four strands of activity - strategic, operational, community and business support, with some overlap between the strands. Recognising that tenant interface and the effective and safe curation of the Science Park community and its facilities, the Facilities Manager is the first point of contact for tenants. The role sits in the operational and community strands of the LSIP organisational chart.
The purpose of the role is to manage the day to day services in the buildings and assist the Head of Operations to be the interface between tenants and the various management functions of the Science Park (e.g. lease issues and renewals, maintenance, fit-outs, health & safety, billing) and as such the first ‘port of call’ for any tenant issues or requirements.
The role includes management of multi-occupancy commercial environments such as the Boole Technology Centre, the Grow-on Space and oversight of other let properties. This role is seen as essential in building the community of Lincoln Science and Innovation Park, so will also take an active interest in encouraging tenant interaction through assisting in events and social activities, including referrals to the Business Support Team and external agencies.

About Us
Lincoln’s southwest industrial quarter has been at the heart of the city’s prosperity for more than 150 years. Not only was it at the forefront of industrial plant development -it can claim to be the home of the original tank before WW1- by the middle of the Twentieth Century, it boasted Europe’s largest foundry.
Lincoln Science and Innovation Park (LSIP) has been tasked by its founders, the University of Lincoln and the Lincolnshire Co-op, with reinvigorating this site as an engine of industry driven by science, technology and innovation.
LSIP combines existing infrastructure like the Think Tank innovation centre with new developments to house academic scientific research as well as commercial analysis laboratories and high-quality space for innovation intensive firms.
We work with Lincolnshire Co-op to recruit our colleagues and are committed to ensuring the process is barrier free and as inclusive as possible for everyone. If you need any adjustments, would like us to do anything differently during the interview or would like to get in touch with us about anything else, please contact our Recruitment team on (01522) 533316, or alternatively you can email careers@lincolnshire.coop.
We may choose to close our vacancies in the event that we receive a high volume of suitable applications, so we encourage all candidates to apply as soon as possible.
