Maintenance Engineer
Nottingham
£54,000 + Overtime
Night Shifts ( 3 on 3 off )
Job Purpose
Looking for a capable individual to maintain the operation of production on both mechanical and electrical systems and maximise the reliability, efficiency and safety of the plant and machinery.
Key Accountabilities
- Cover the factory on Reactive Maintenance, Preventative Maintenance, Root cause Analysis and ongoing reliability of all processing and packing plant.
- To attend and diagnose breakdown repairs in a cost-effective timely manner
- To record all work details using CMMS
- Involvement in loss reduction and efficiency improvement activities with production operators.
- To ensure that all delegated mechanical and electrical work is performed with full regard to product safety and quality and employee health and safety
Experience and Skills:
- Fault-finding skills
- Understanding of problem-solving techniques
- Experience within a manufacturing environment (FMCG/Food)
- Working knowledge of AC/DC motors and controls
- Understanding of hydraulics, and pneumatics
