While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required.

Working within our Finance Department, the Management Accountant will be responsible for playing a critical role in producing management information (MI) for the business and reconciling balance sheet accounts.

Ensuring best practice is used throughout the Finance team you will look to improve controls, processes, and policies, alongside addressing day to day queries from stakeholders.

This role is ideal for someone who is currently working as a Management Accountant or has previously worked as one and can bring experience of owning the whole Management Accounts process to the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Calculation of revenue and costs to be recognised in the P&L
  • Production of accurate management accounts
  • Key balance sheet reconciliations with justifications of all balances
  • Ownership of the whole process

Skills and Experience

  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience of using Microsoft Excel to create and interpret spreadsheets and use Pivots and V-lookups
  • Current or previous experience of full ownership of the Management Accounts
  • Ability to use own initiative with a hands on and proactive approach
