VitrA Bathrooms is part of the Eczacıbaşı Group, one of Turkey’s most prominent industrial groups. VitrA UK is headquartered in Didcot, Oxfordshire and has been operating in the UK for over 30 years. The company employs over 60 people and offers the full range of bathroom products including WCs, basins, taps, bathtubs and furniture. Additionally, VitrA UK also offer tiles. In 2021, VitrA UK opened the flag ship showroom in Clerkenwell, London.


What Do We Expect from Our New Team Member?

The Marketing & Communications Executive will fulfill a range of activities to support all customer channels, working closely with the Digital Media Executive and the Channel Executives within the Marketing Team. Responsibilities include content creation for email and social, audience engagement and media relations, and serving as a steward of the brand and brand messaging, ensuring consistency and alignment with the brand voice across all communication channels. This role offers a great opportunity for hands-on experience within a collaborative environment.

  • Collaborate closely with channel executives, including for retail and commercial projects, to understand and support channel requirements and objectives
  • Develop tailored communication channel plans, considering audience and messaging
  • Produce and distribute communication material including social media content, press releases, emails and blogs
  • Manage event communication, including invitations and event web pages
  • Arrange photography/videography where required
  • Assist in the development and execution of email marketing campaigns to support each channel, driving engagement and conversion
  • Content development and execution for internal communication
  • Create compelling email content including copywriting, subject lines and call-to-actions
  • Work with channel executives to support customer channel with tailored PR and advertising activity
  • Assist in writing press releases, copy calls and other PR content to support product launches and brand initiatives across all customer channels, working with external PR agencies where relevant
  • Manage the planning and execution of advertising activity, including print ads, advertorials and digital display
  • Maintain relationships with journalists and influencers
  • Monitor media coverage and track PR metrics to evaluate effectiveness
  • Coordinate and support PR events including interviews, briefings and photoshoots
  • Support the planning and implementation of social media strategies on Instagram and Facebook for the UK accounts, including @vitrabathroomsuk and @vitralondon
  • Develop and curate engaging content calendars
  • Manage the scheduling of social media content
  • Support customers with the provision of packaged social media content
  • Monitor accounts and respond to comments and messages to foster engagement
  • Work with digital media executive to report and analyse social media metrics to improve performance


Which Core Competencies Do We Need?

  • Degree educated or equivalent
  • 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience within the KBB industry preferable
  • Creative copywriting and excellent proof-reading skills with a highly developed attention to detail
  • Strong team player
  • Proficient with key social media channels
  • Proficient with email marketing platforms
  • Experience of using Canva, or other graphics software packages, preferable
