As one of our Mechanical Hardware Engine er s , you will be responsible for the design and build to deliver product test systems and equipment. The Test and Measurement Department designs and provides the global pressure business with custom equipment, examples include Pneumatic/Hydraulic pressure test installations, test looms, and electrical test interface assemblies.
As a Mechanical Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Designing solutions to suit the business project requirements
- Managing all Hardware activities within individual projects (Quotations/Sourcing/Design/Build)
- Provide support to the Test System Build Engineer and other Druck manufacturing support teams
- Liaising with 3rd party manufacturers and suppliers
- Ensuring individual projects meet business required deadlines
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be Degree qualified or have HND level Mechanica l/E lectro-Mechanical Design Qualifications or equivalent
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
- Have strong 2D/3D CAD experience ideally within a Test and Measurement environment
- Ideally have experience/knowledge with Pneumatic and Hydraulic pressure system design
- Be comfortable working in an environment with high expectations for quality, on-time delivery, and deadlines
- Have excellent attention to detail
