Job Description:
Multi skilled Mechanical Engineer
· Based in Ayrshire Scotland
· Full-time, permanent
· Willingness to travel and flexibility
· 8-hour shift with weekend availability
Our Client requires someone who is very capable of problem solving and who has a sound knowledge of Health & Safety. As a productive team player, the ideal candidate will be able to work to deadlines and targets, be self-motivated and an organised multitasker.
It would be an advantage to have experience working with Air handling units, fans, filters, and ducting.
This position is ideally suited to someone with supervisory capabilities or aspirations
Work Experience:
As a mobile Engineer, you will play an important role in the ongoing success of the business by ensuring that our contracted and ad-hoc works are completed on time and to the highest of quality standards.
As part of our growing high-performing team, you will be responsible for:
· Maintenance of machines
· with ducting installs, duct repairs, new equipment installs, filter changes, changing hoses, and a range of other activities.
· New Installations, PPM, repairs and filter changing on everything from small machines to large dust collectors
· Trouble shooting
· Creating parts lists
· Documents including job sheets and reports
· Total customer satisfaction
Successful Applicants should demonstrate the following:
· Proven experience working as a mechanical engineer/fitter/engineer with varied experience and the ability to do ad hoc and cleverly thought-out repairs
· A relevant mechanical qualification or time served
· Sound and current knowledge of maintenance in strict factory environments where H&S is the first priority
· A valid driving licence is essential

· Circa 30k - £40k depending on skills experience (negotiable) plus overtime, plus performance bonus, plus pension (3% employers' contribution)

· Tools, safety equipment and workwear
