Job Description
Kent based practice of Chartered Building Surveyors is recruiting an Associate / Director Level MRICS Building Surveyor to complement their busy and established team.
A variety of soft skills and experience may be required for the following role Please ensure you check the overview below carefully.
The Person:
- MRICS or FRICS
- Experienced managing projects from inception to completion, carrying out a range of professional duties and functions.
- Client facing skills
- Business development skills always seen as preferable
- Managing and mentoring the junior Surveyors in the team
The Role
- New and existing client management
- Design specification and preparation of tender documents for construction projects circa £500,000
- Contract Administrator of construction projects circa £500,000 contract value using industry standard forms of contract including JCT and NEC
- Building Surveys / reports
- Investigation and diagnosis of Building Defects
- Acting as PD under the C(DM) Regulations 2015
In return you can expect:
- Basic salary £70,000 / £80,000 (depending on experience)
